Personal Data Protection according to the LOPD

Many·Worlds SLU, in accordance with current personal data protection regulations, informs that personal data collected through the forms on the website: www.many-worlds.es, are included in the automated files specific to users of Many·Worlds SLU’s services.

The collection and automated processing of personal data aim to maintain the commercial relationship and perform tasks related to information, training, advisory services, and other activities specific to Many·Worlds SLU.

At Many·Worlds SLU, we will process your personal data collected through the website: www.many-worlds.es, for the following purposes:

How long is personal data retained?

Data Retention in Compliance with the LSSI

Many·Worlds SLU informs that, as a data hosting service provider and in accordance with the provisions of Law 34/2002 of July 11 on Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce (LSSI), it retains for a maximum period of 12 months the essential information to identify the origin of the hosted data and the time when the service began. The retention of this data does not affect the confidentiality of communications and may only be used within the framework of a criminal investigation or for public safety purposes, being made available to judges and/or courts or the relevant ministry as required.

The communication of data to law enforcement agencies will be carried out in accordance with the regulations on personal data protection.

Intellectual Property Rights of Many·Worlds SLU

Many·Worlds SLU holds all copyright, intellectual property, industrial rights, “know-how,” and any other rights related to the content of the website www.many-worlds.es and the services offered on it, as well as the programs necessary for its implementation and the related information.

Reproduction, publication, and/or use of the contents, in whole or in part, of the website www.many-worlds.es is not permitted without prior written consent.

Intellectual Property of Software

The user must respect third-party programs provided by www.many-worlds.es, even if they are free and/or publicly available.

Many·Worlds SLU holds the necessary exploitation and intellectual property rights for the software.

The user does not acquire any rights or licenses over the software necessary for providing the service, nor over the technical information related to the service, except for the rights and licenses necessary to fulfill the contracted services and only for the duration of those services.

For any actions beyond the fulfillment of the contract, the user will need written authorization from Many·Worlds SLU. The user is prohibited from accessing, modifying, or viewing the configuration, structure, and files of the servers owned by Many·Worlds SLU. The user assumes civil and criminal liability for any incidents that may occur on the servers and security systems as a direct result of negligent or malicious actions on their part.

Intellectual Property of Hosted Content

The use of the services provided by Many·Worlds SLU in a manner that contravenes intellectual property legislation is prohibited, particularly regarding:

  • Use that is contrary to Spanish laws or infringes on the rights of third parties.
  • The publication or transmission of any content that, in the opinion of Many·Worlds SLU, is violent, obscene, abusive, illegal, racial, xenophobic, or defamatory.
  • Cracks, serial numbers of programs, or any other content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
  • The collection and/or use of personal data from other users without their explicit consent or in violation of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
  • The use of the domain’s email server and email addresses for sending unsolicited mass emails.

    The user is fully responsible for the content of their website, the information transmitted and stored, hypertext links, third-party claims, and legal actions related to intellectual property, third-party rights, and the protection of minors.

    The user is responsible for complying with current laws and regulations, rules related to online service operations, e-commerce, copyright, maintenance of public order, and universal principles of internet use.

    The user will indemnify Many·Worlds SLU for any costs incurred due to Many·Worlds SLU being implicated in any case for which the user is responsible, including legal fees and defense costs, even in the case of a non-final judicial decision.

    Protection of Hosted Information

    Many·Worlds SLU performs backups of the content hosted on its servers; however, it is not responsible for the accidental loss or deletion of data by users. Similarly, it does not guarantee the complete restoration of data deleted by users, as such data may have been removed or modified during the time elapsed since the last backup.

    The services offered, except for specific backup services, do not include the replacement of the contents kept in the backup copies made by Many-Worlds SLU, when this loss is attributable to the user; In this case, a rate will be determined according to the complexity and volume of the recovery, always with prior acceptance by the user.

    The replacement of deleted data is only included in the price of the service when the loss of content is due to causes attributable to Many-Worlds SLU

    Commercial communications

    In application of the LSSI. Many-Worlds SLU will not send advertising or promotional communications by email or other equivalent means of electronic communication that have not previously been requested or expressly authorized by the recipients thereof.

In the case of users with whom there is a prior contractual relationship, Many-Worlds SLU is authorized to send commercial communications regarding Many-Worlds SLU products or services that are similar to those that were initially contracted with the client.

In any case, the user, after proving their identity, may request that no more commercial information be sent to them through the Customer Service channels.
